When Making a Music Video, What is the Best Way To Put in the REAL Song over the Video?

This is hard to explain as a question. I filmed a video in which my friend and I lipsyned to a song and now I want to (in editing) replace the recorded audio for the actual song so that it sounds better. I am using the newest version of Apple's Final Cut Express HD. Thanks! When Making a Music Video, What is the Best Way To Put in the REAL Song over the Video?
To make a music video, just play the audio over a radio and just lipsink to it. Then when you are finished, load it on to your computer via various video capture programs. Then use a video editing program to just cut out the audio from the video, then you can import the mp3 of the song and use that as the audio on the movie. This is complicated, but you get the best results. Otherwise, just use a home stereo unit that has audio outputs on the back of it and use RCA wires and plug them into the camcorder in the mic or line in port. Then the audio will go straight from the home stereo to the camcorder with no distortion from outside noise and all the other crap.
