Is making yourself sick after eating a takeaway or a fatty meal very bad for you?

We all know that making yourself sick everyday is very serious and is known as an eating disorder, but what if it's just once or twice a week after you've had a fatty takeaway? Would that really do much damage?Is making yourself sick after eating a takeaway or a fatty meal very bad for you?
Yes, it is still bulimia and it is still very bad for your teeth, esophagus, blood chemicals, and mental state. Don't do it!

If you feel bad about the food choices you are making, just try to eat smaller portions or cook healthier foods. But don't eat and then vomit, because it can become extremely addictive and bad for your health... in some cases it does lead to death.Is making yourself sick after eating a takeaway or a fatty meal very bad for you?
Summarizing the question: ';I only do %26lt;destructive behavior%26gt; sometimes instead of frequently, doesn't that make it okay?';

It's very easy to find rationalizations for compulsive or addictive behavior, like, ';If I only drink wine, I can't be an alcoholic.'; ... ';She's tired a lot, so it's okay for me to sleep around.'; ... ';I HAVE to win the next time, I've lost so much so I'm due to win, so I have to play again to win back what I've lost.';.... ';I only do it sometimes so it's okay, I don't HAVE to do it.';

If you smoke only once in a while, you're still a smoker. If you practice bulimia only once in a while, you're still bulimic. Both are addictive/compulsive behaviors and will tend to escalate. If you are unable to stop, please, please, seek help.
Wouldn't you think it more sensible to avoid eating the meal, rather than making yourself vomit it up afterwards? Remember when you do this you are bringing the contents of your stomach, including the very strong acids that work digesting your food, back up through your oesophagus and onto your teeth. Acid will burn your throat and erode your teeth. Why not just miss out on the fatty food?
I would say YES!
eww, have fun while your esophagus collapses
Yes. It will still damage your esophagus' lining. You can end up with ulcers in your throat and other unpleasant conditions.
Nawww, I ate the most satisfying grease ball burger yesterday with fried onions and by god you name it. A real gut bomb ......... Loved every bite of it :)
Making yourself sick after eating is an eating disorder no matter how often you do it. It's called purging and it's connected to bulimia.

Please, go see a doctor. It is not OK to do this.
