How are the windshield and other glass problems handled when making a chop top hot rod?

I am very curious about hot rods, chop tops in particular. Does all the glass have to be custom made and how expensive and exhausting a process is that? How are the windshield and other glass problems handled when making a chop top hot rod?
Yes, they are custom made unless you buy the kits that have the flat windshields. The chrome ones that have the small glass in them, But those are for open tops or soft top convertible. The side windows if they roll down can just be rolled down a bit. The back glass try to make it flat to reduce cost. Side windows that do not open are usually flat glass anyhow and does not cost a lot. Those curved custom windows I would look on the internet for some good glass cutter shops so that you can make sure they have a tight fit. You dont want them to leak. Unless of course you are making an open top. Then you would only need the windshield.
