That's a loaded question. I would have to say at this point in the MT business there are a lot of MTs who are looking for other lines of work. It used to be that once upon a time you could make a living doing this and make good money, benefits and so on but good jobs are HARD to find now. Hospitals/doctors just don't want to pay you what you're worth. Most places will have you work on a per line and/or character basis, meaning it's production based, the more you work, the more you get. Some places still offer an hourly rate plus a bonus incentive, that really makes it worthwhile. However since some places only pay 6 cents a line, you're working a lot, invariably causing repetitive motion pain. That's what most newbies earn. With experience, your wage goes up but not too much. You'd be lucky to find a job that pays more than .09 a line anymore. Plus this field is over-saturated, you're competing against a lot of MTs, more than ever really. Plus, hospitals/docs are sending work overseas so there's just less work to do. I've left a couple of places because of running out of work constantly. Outsourcing produces shoddy work but it's cheap labor.





I went to a medical/business school, vocational if you will, and I loved it. It didn't give me a bunch of bullsh** classes that have nothing to do with nothing. Classes are smaller so you can get 1-on-1 attention if you need it. I recommend them over the correspondence courses (however there are some good reputable schools out there) and I recommend working in a hospital/clinic/office before working from home. I'd say the average MT is earning anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000, some earn more, some earn less. It's tough on your body though but it's rewarding at the same time.

Medical transcription #1 career to work from home. Millions of people are working in this field and earning good income. First, you have to survey well on this field through different forums. Basically, you keep in mind that in this field you have to hear to dictation and type, sit for long hours. Money is not a problem.
The major bulk of medical transcription work in the U.S. has been greatly curtailed by state privacy laws as it pertains to medical records and patient confidentiality. The vast majority of medical records are kept in recordkeeping departments within medical centers and any transcription work is done ';in-house,'; not ';outsourced.'; So, beware of any offers which promote online in home medical transcription work--there are scammers out there.

If you are looking for Medical Transcription training, I have heard many good things about the Career Step course. They have an awesome program that has interactive games and a ton of dictation which may seem like overkill but it is much needed practice. Their course is online so you don't have to attend a school which is nice. They just started doing a demo of their course which is awesome. Then you can see what it would be like taking the course and what they have to offer.

probably a double of what you normally do but I would go ahead and make 3 times the normal amount fill your pan to about 1/2 '; for the top and use the rest in a bundt pan for your self or a dinner party dessert. you can also make it extra bundt pan and freeze it for later. I don't know any in your specific area, but I always find reasonable prices on good, fresh cuts of meat at my local independent butcher/deli. Try one of those places, you can even tell them what you're making and they'll help you decide the best cut/amount.
Rack of lamb usually runs about $12-$15 a pound. If you are having a lot of people for dinner you can expect to pay upwards of $100 or more just for the lamb.





About 6 years ago I bought a rack of lamb for two. It cost over $21.00.
sam's. there is a farm where i live that will dress a lamb--you have to buy all the meat, but it is inexpensive.
I buy mine at Costco, might be Sam's Club to you. One rack per two people.

In the process of making table mould bricks, after the sticky clay is filled into the mould, the mould is overturned, to release the clay in the shape of a brick. But, while it is dropped, because of ineffective lubrication on the inside walls of the mould, the resulting shape of the brick is unsatisfactory.





At the moment we are using soap powder as the lubricant, which is unsatisfactory.
